Tony's Hot Dust is an original blend of five spices and over ten different peppers. It can be used as a pepper alternative, a flavor enhancer, chili topper, dry rub, and secret ingredient. Tony's Hot Dust is not just about the heat, it is about having a unique flavor that brings the heat.

As we are a Home Based Vendor, This website can only Sell & Ship to Residents of the State of Indiana. Unfortunately, we will cancel any and all orders with shipping addresses outside of the State of Indiana.

This having been said, you can also find us in person at the Washington County Farmer's Market located in the parking lot of 801 S Jackson St #102, Salem, IN 47167 Saturdays 8am-12pm Eastern, and Tuesdays from 4pm-6pm. Farmer's Market will be starting Mid May 2023.

Made from Small Batches

Tony's Hot Dust is made in small batches. This is to ensure a proper mixing technique that provides consistency of flavor throughout the entire blend. Any caked ingredients are sieved and properly amalgamated during this process.

Ingredients

Tony's Hot Dust is an original blend of five spices and over ten different peppers. Absolutely NO MSG has been used, nor ever will be used in any of our Tony's Hot Dust products. The only preservative is salt. The sources for our spices come from reputable companies. They arrive fully dried and ready to mix.

For your safety, we must let you know that some of the facilities that produce these spices, also produce products that may contain tree nuts, dairy, wheat-gluten, and other known allergens.

One of the ingredients we use is Ground Annatto seed, but this ingredient is not recognized as one of the "Big Eight" substances that cause hypersensitive reactions.

The Tony's Hot Dust Experience

So What is Tony's Hot Dust Like? When you open the bottle, you will experience the earthy scent of Cumin and Turmeric. This earthy, almost musky, scent gives way as it ages. As it matures in the bottle it will grow more smoky in flavor, probably due to the capsaicin in the peppers. The heat can be experiences from almost instant to a slow creep depending upon how it is used. The heat can leave you within 1-3 minutes. With any hope, the flavor will last with you for a lifetime.

Product Quality

As Tony's Hot Dust ages, it will grow more smoky. This is most likely due to the capsaicin found in the peppers. Some of the peppers in Tony's Hot Dust are in the 100-350K SHU range. If you leave it out on the kitchen table as a pepper substitute, we recommend you keep it out of the reach of small children. And IF a bottle of Tony's Hot Dust makes it to the one year mark, it will be smoky, aged, faded, and just angry. Very Angry.
